"Hi, I'm James! I'm new to the team and started here a couple of weeks ago.

What is your role?

I'm the associate dentist at St Piran Dental, so I'll be the person asking you to open wide! I'm responsible for making sure our patient's at Perranporth get all their dental needs looked after.

What do you love about your role?

I love being a dentist, and I think that my favourite part is getting to meet and treat lots of different people. Seeing new faces each morning and afternoon means that every day varies from the last, and that my job never gets boring or repetitive. It's been lovely getting to know the patients at St Piran Dental over the last couple of weeks, and I'm really looking forward to getting to know all of our other patients! 

Where is your favourite holiday destination?

Some of my favourite holidays have been spent camping all over Cornwall, which explains why my family and I are so excited to have finally moved here. 

What do you do like to do on your weekends?

We have a two and a half year old boy and a baby girl on the way, so at the moment my weekends are spent flying around between playparks and the beach. I love home brewing beer and long distance running but haven't quite got the time for either at the moment!

What's your favourite animal?

Not sure but reminds me of a terrible joke: What's a dentist's favourite animal?... A Molar Bear...!

Are you a book person or a movie person?

Nothing beats an amazing novel in my opinion, but I do love bingeing a good TV series!"
